About the Role
We are excited to announce our partnership with a prominent pension insurance fund that is currently expanding its DevOps/Platform team. Our client is actively building their cloud infrastructure in AWS and is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Lead engineer to join their team. This role requires expertise in deploying infrastructure, managing migrations, and a fundamental understanding of software engineering.
As part of their strategic vision, our client has launched a multi-year project to redevelop and modernise their entire technology stack. This includes enhancing pricing and analytics capabilities, improving risk management processes, optimising market data and trade capture, and enhancing reporting functionalities. On the software side, they are utilising Rust and Python, providing you with an opportunity to enhance your skill set.
You will have the privilege of working alongside exceptional individuals who bring valuable experience from renowned companies such as Google, Facebook, G-Research, and Citadel. The team takes pride in fostering a collaborative, humble, and intellectually stimulating environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in deploying infrastructure and managing migrations in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
Strong understanding of software engineering principles and experience working with languages like Rust and Python
Proficiency in automating infrastructure and utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes
Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Compensation
Salaries range from £100k-£200k depending on experience and interview performance. There is also a significant bonus component on top.
