Oakland Search source great software engineers to work for even better companies. We don't use job boards, we headhunt. Our client base is global and ranges from tech start-ups and Silicon Valley tech companies to data-driven trading firms.

We are looking to hire a researcher. You will be working closely with both founders whom each has a decade of experience in technology recruitment. We will teach you what a good software engineer looks like and how to find them. You will then be given autonomy to source engineering talent for specific projects across contingency and retained searches. 

 

You need to be driven, focused, and disciplined. You should also be able to show prior examples of this. It helps if you are deeply passionate about something in life and have a high threshold for seemingly mundane (but vital) tasks. You’ll need to look at this opportunity as a long-term project rather than expecting an instant, overnight success. We will provide the support to enable you to do this.

Prior recruitment experience isn't required. We believe in our methods and we train and develop individuals in them.

• This is a hybrid position but must already be based in the UK

• You will work 9 am-5 pm, Monday - Friday.
